About Doc2Lang
Doc2Lang translates documents, images and media while keeping their structure. Its website shows the results through real examples, from spreadsheets and résumés to scanned pages and subtitles.
The brief: show the whole product in a short film
The request was for a 72–80-second English product overview for first-time visitors and YouTube viewers. It included a suggested narration script, a navy-and-orange visual direction, English subtitles, and a requirement to show real before-and-after samples from doc2lang.com.
The challenge was to make the range of formats easy to understand in one viewing. The film needed to introduce the product, show what changes and what stays in place, and finish with the upload, preview and download steps.

From website samples to animated comparisons
Vividemo used Doc2Lang’s published examples and brand assets to build the film. Spreadsheets, documents, slides, scanned pages and images became a six-card introduction, followed by closer comparisons of the original and translated files.
English narration, on-screen subtitles, motion and music connect those examples into a product overview. The IDML and HTML sections use labelled illustrative animations; the preview and download sequence is labelled as Doc2Lang’s official interactive demo.
Refining the opening and the Word example
Feedback shaped the final opening: introduce Doc2Lang by name and explain what it does before moving into the sample cards. The cards were also adjusted to keep charts and page images in their original proportions.
The Word section was replaced with clean renders of Doc2Lang’s official French-to-English résumé pair, supplied during the review. The comparison now shows the document’s headings, tables and bullet lists without editing marks. The opening card and the detailed Word scene use the same sample.
What it took
The first cut arrived 51 minutes after the brief. While it was being made, four short follow-up messages were sent: check each sample’s real translation direction and use “ONE TOOL. MANY FORMATS.” as the cover title; keep the official interactive demo labelled as a demo; give the media section a positive headline; and, finally, lock the version and deliver.
The review asked for one round of revisions with the three changes above: a new brand opening, sample cards in their original proportions, and the clean Word pages. The revised film arrived 17 minutes after that request.
The English film used 145 credits: 126 for the first cut and 19 for the revision. Roughly 59 went to the music, 24 to the English voiceover, and 62 to the agent’s own reading, planning and editing. That is what this film cost, not a fixed price; credits depend on length and on how many changes you ask for. See pricing for plans and credit packs.
The result
The finished film, One Tool. Many Formats., runs for 77 seconds at 1920 × 1080. This page presents the English version, with English narration and subtitles embedded in the picture. An editable English SRT subtitle file is also available below.
The film moves from a brand introduction through real translation examples to the website’s upload flow. The examples retain their actual translation directions, including French-to-English documents and an English-to-Japanese café menu.
